  • Course Requirements

    To enroll in the Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, applicants must meet the following criteria:

    • • KCSE Mean Grade of C (Plain) with at least C in Biology & Chemistry
    • • Pass in Mathematics or Physics
    • • Copies of academic certificates & identification documents
    • • Application fee of Kshs. 2,000 (Non-refundable)
  • Course Duration

    The Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology is a 3-year program structured as follows:

    • • Year 1: Foundational knowledge and laboratory safety training.
    • • Year 2: Advanced laboratory techniques and diagnostics.
    • • Year 3: Clinical practice, internships, and research project.
    • • Class Schedule: Flexible morning and afternoon sessions to accommodate different learning needs.
  • Assessment & Certification

    To earn the Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, students must:

    • • Successfully complete all course modules.
    • • Pass both theoretical and practical assessments.
    • • Complete a mandatory clinical internship at affiliated hospitals and laboratories.
    • • Submit a final research project related to laboratory science.

    Upon completion, graduates receive a TVET-accredited diploma, recognized nationally and internationally.
